Forestville Historical Society
Minutes for the Meeting of September 3, 2000

1) The meeting was brought to order at 3:05Pm in the Food For Thought
Building.

2) Joel Newburg, Jerry Hughes, Lavon Covington, and Penny Hutten were in
attendance.

3)The Society adjourned to the new  Forestville Library.  Joel Newburg
gave us a tour of the new El Molino library and also the community
library.  He showed us where our show case could reside and where we
could store all our history documents.

4) We then adjourned to Lavon Covington's house to finish the meeting.

5) We had the treasurers report:  The new balance is $418.00
          a-Lavon had collected $90.00 for pictures.
          b-We paid out $8.00 for a P.O.Box for our historical society.
          c- We paid $30.00 for the articles of incorporation.
          d-These people paid their yearly dues;

5)  We talked about the preparation for the September 9th. visit to
"GeorgeTown".

6)  4:30 the meeting ended.
